I've always used ramjet.com or transintl.com and have had very good luck with both.

I just bought a 1 gig stick for my macbook pro from www.memoryx.com . It was only $99. So far it works like a champ, I have had no problems.

Any brand? I don't think so. Don't overthink this. Go to a reputable company like Ramjet and buy the right thing the first time and don't look back.

yeah, don't save pennies on ram, buy quality, trouble with ram or any other cheap parts, e.g. HDs don't ever pay off the firstly saved pennies, the difference is small compared to the trouble you save.

I just did like 20 searches on newegg and I couldn't find a 1 gig ram stick for a powerbook anywhere. you just said they got it, stupid me... or stupid search function..

could you find a link. cause I'll jump on the 75 buck ram.
It was as if someone shook up a 6 foot can of blood soda and suddenly popped the top.
