Beta of upcoming bug fix update! Live 5.2.1b9

Any word on the new Beta? I have a show tonight and I have been having serious crashing problems with 5.2. The last beta seemed to help, so I would really like a new beta to use tonight.

My problems is that Ableton crashes when loading another session. At first I thought it was a problem with the Lucifer vst and after many days of working with steve we thought we had it fixed. But now Live is crashing all the time. I took out all of my vst plugins and tried one at a time.

The result of that is that Live still crashed when I had plug-ins activated. It didn't matter if I had just Lucifer or just OhmBoyz or just QFX2.

Now Live seems to be picking on QFX2 and not the others. This is a very very strange problem and I am at my witts end. I can't believe that all these plug-ins have the same bugs in them. And yes, they are all legit plug-ins.

why do you have to use the beta?...just use 5.03 again...the old .exe is still there

Because the Beta did not crash on me (doesn't mean it actually fixed it or not this bug is very tricky). Also because I am on a MAC and in the attempt to figure this bug out I completely reformated my drive and reloaded OSX from scratch, and lost all my old Live Installs. The 5.2 I download from here is the only version I can get right now.

Do you still have your serial number? If you download the 5.2 demo, you can activate that to the full version using your serial.

I have emailed support. With crash logs and sessions. It is the version of 5.2 I d/l from this site using my serial number that is crashing. I am only hoping this Beta will somehow fix this strange issue, but the Beta has expired, and they said a new one was coming out today.

Been working with the developers of all these plug-ins that keep crashing, and it seems to probably point back to Live, but not sure why it comes and goes and is suddenly all up in my shit the past few months.

Yeah I mean how can they beta test 5.2.1 when they are now beta testing version 6.
As if they give a fuck about version 5 now.

my evil side is inclined to agree, but live 6 is in alpha, not beta and we are dealing with the germans.......
