Who is recording MIC to Live through MOTU 828?

i do!
if you mean that you only hear one channel, then you should unlink the stereo busses (in the bus view) and choose the mic you want as input; it will be routed to stereo then.
otherwise, could you be more specific?

just be sure to unlink (or link, as the case may be) the busses BEFORE selecting your input on the channel you are recording on.

if you want to connect more than one track to a single mic imput, just select live in for every track that you want to record on, and in the drop down menu under 'live in' make sure each of your tracks is recording from the same imput on the 828 that your mic is connected to.
