I don't get how the ones who believe in god want to play god. Pro life until your born, then kill them if they don't live up to christian standards. The child rapist angle does not hold up, neither would an argument of pro-choice for rape and extreme cases. The argument is for allowing either act to happen, then you talk about under what circumstances. Big picture, little picture.

So, all those child molesting priests that the Catholic church shuffles around like so many rubber balls in a shell game, why aren't they worm food? Does that piss you off?

Any act of crime or inhumanity against a child puts me into a rage. The fact that a human can take away a childs innocence, childhood, and future disgusts me beyond my own ability to think about it.

The death penalty in a perfect world may be an option but I have to agree with Jimmy Carter when he says that he cannot support it when there is and have been innocent people murdered by the hands of the court. The day that innocent people aren't persecuted would be the day I could think about it. Not until then.

I'm in favor of the death penalty in theory (that whole "eye for an eye" thing is one part the bible got right..)

However here in the US it is so racially unbalanced (which is representative of the justive system here as a whole) that I have no choice but to stand against it in it's current form.
