Ahem... well... I...

Ok, I do guitar-oriented rock. I don't use clips, samplers, werping, etc. For me it's about audio recording and mixing, although I do use a load of VSTi's and VST effects. Synths, drums (BFD is my best purchase ever!), compressors, EQ's, etc.

Sometimes I wonder if I should stick to Live or go with Cubase or something else, due to my needs. I concluded I would stay with Live, since it seems to be doing everything I need, and I see no compelling reason to switch (ProTools is a no-no for me, since it can't use VST plugins).

So, there... I said it.

:D

(Edit: Ok ok ok.. I'm starting to fool around with sampling a bit... 8O )

I just found out recently that Nottingham is a real place.

All this time I thought it was a made up fictional place (as well as Sherwood Forest) where the Robin Hood stories take place..

My friend Pete (Mistajam) is from there, I unsuccessfully tried to tell him to change his stage name to "The Sherriff" (of Nottingham).

Good shit! more music for my listening endevours! But please no meepy floop or house trance, if I have to hear anymore Im going to do the supersonic tornado vomit spin. J/K... Anyway i have a myspace but i didnt want to put up my music there because i heard it becomes property of fox or nbc or some shit! I dont want corporate fuckwhores taking my music! I dont want to hear it in the background of the show "the shield" Starring (michale chicklets) or rosie odonell one day. I was actually going to cancel it because i rarely use it. anyway i have like one song up, because I dont care about that one and it sounds like deep idm progressive backsliding rockabilly gothic meepy floop! ill put up some other shitty beats i have, most of them where made in fruity poops and not ableton but i want to rework them in ableton.

Optic Blast... im out!

I live im miami and when i went to ultra(electronic music festival) alot of the music i heard was being performed with live, but it was all trance! I guess its because its really easy to make with live. Your music sounds very ambient like boards of canada. Right now I cant help but wonder what parts are being controlled with ableton and what is instrumental. I think i hear a live bass and guitar. the drums sound really good. Im gonna go check out your site for more!! Tight work man.
thanks!
the only instrument in that particular performance was electric upright bass...
played through live. 3 musicians w/laptops running ableton. no sync.
can't afford to take drummers to europe at this point!
alot of the drums are samples of friends, they're listed on the site.
we like to take signals from eachother, sample&dub it out.
cheers

I make Folk music...

It's frikkin hilarious...or something...

I want to make trippy house music and so I attempt but I've never figured out how to get past the initial bit of the track and then something happens in life and I need to write fast so I write a folk song...and record it...and put it on myspace occasionally...and then there's no trippy house-ish track, but there's some great folk made in live (when I get live 6, I'll be able to do multi-track warping on my folk music, and perhaps sync it to a video of a rolling meadow)
