VST problem on Ableton Live Lite 5.2 [MacBook]

Hi!

None of the VST plug-ins are found during Re-Scan on my Ableton Live Lite 5.2.
Is it MacBook [dualcore] compatability problem, Live Lite limitations or smthng else?

Hello,

This is because your plugins are not Universal Binary application, whereas Live 5.2 is, therefore, they can't be compatible.

You should contact your plugin manufacturers to find out if/when they have a UB version ready.

Hey!
Or you could force "LiIVE" to run under Rosetta, which won't run as efficient (more like a G4). Use your VST stuff at that point - Render to disk. Then open LIVE back up in Universal mode and import these new rendered tracks. It's not the most efficient way of doing things but it'll work for now until everything flips over to the new Intel chip.
