Very New User.....No Audio Output From Live Delta V 1.5

Hi Everyone,
I just bought some gear with the hopes of recording a few things on my home computer. I know absolutely nothing about recording and all I want to do is record some guitar tracks and play them back.

I bought the M-Audio Mobile PRE and it came with some software I am sure you are all familiar with. Live Delta Version 1.5

Here is where I am at:

I have installed all of the software succesfully

Live Delta is up and running

I have recorded a few things

I have tried to play them back

BUT, there is no audio output from my computer, either from the built in speakers, or headphones.....nothing.

I have tried adjusting all of the gain levels and everything to full and not even a hiss.

Also, even trying to play videos that normally play with audio, I am unable to hear the audio from them too. When I unplug the USB cable, i do get audio. Live Delta also stopped playing and recording once I unplugged the cable.

It seems this new software has taken over my computer and stopped sound altogether. I am sure it is a simple fix.

Can anyone help me out with this?

dude: i'm having the exact same problem; can't get sound out of this program, through m-audio firewire 410. reason is playing, but not live. help....

Hi Mckenzie, hi PVH,

if you really have Live Delta 1.5 it can't work with the Mobile Pre or the FW 410 because it is an old version of Live Delta where you can't select these audio interfaces in Live's audio preferences.
