Magnitude and Wired on Soundclick

Post by djadonis206 » Tue Jul 25, 2006 3:27 pm

I completely forgot about my soundclick page

I uploaded a couple new tracks Roman and I are working on. It was nice to finally sit down with him and make some head way on a couple things last night - I set all the drama of my life aside and actually worked on some music - very relaxing and rewarding

anywayz - to the point

new tracks are called

Magnitude

Wired

Just like to know if you like the direction, production, what you think you would change etc etc

Peace

Man, two tracks in a night? That's what I call productive!

Magnitude is cool, nice beats and build-up. The breakdown was unexpected as the mood changes quite a bit but it works pretty well since you bring everything back around.

Wired is my favorite of the two, nice and moody. If I was picking holes I'd say maybe squeeze down on your beats a bit more with your compressor and bring the kick up a bit.. if your off-the-beat kick at around 5 mins was brought out, it would really funk it up. But then it might change the sound of the track too much.

Overall they're cool tracks man... jesus, can't believe you got two tracks done in a night...
Awright Bawjaws, that smells lovely son, gies a wee taste!

Yeah Roman really likes the WIRED track - there's another version somewhere but I can't find it

I agree about that break down in Magnitude and I'm still searching for the right / perfect breakbeat

not sure if I should introduce the breakbeat earlier or maybe here and there before the break down - curious what y'all think - it's not a bad idea to let 'em know it's coming

It's a tough call - FYI I've made some changes to Magnitude - i.e. I bring the dub out way more so it screams a lot louder on the break and some more edits etc etc

Thanks Marky
