OSX Dropouts
Why does my Live 1.51 dropout and sound so blotchy io OSX? Should I just hush and wait for OSX.2?
What should I set my latency buffer to?
I do not believe it is a fragmented harddrive.

Is there an echo in here?
It works fine wit hmy wife's ibook. It does not work well at all on my G4. I have a dual 1Ghz with 1.5 gb of ram. Two 7200 rmp ATA 66 drives.
So of the files I am accessing through an alias to their OS9 counterpart folder. By this I mean I have an alias of my OS9 Live songs in my OSX LIve folder. That shouldn't make a difference should it?
There are no more extension conflicts. I have a Motu 828 which won't work with OSX yet. What else could be conflicting in my Live?
Any help is appreciated.

OSX/PB
I just spent a great weekend with OSX, Reason2, and Live 1.51 on my PB500 and can offer the following advice:
DO NOT use Soundsticks via USB - I got huge dropouts and slowdowns - even when setting the buffer to 2048.
This may have been a usb conflict with the Midiman Midisport 2x2, or it might have been something with the soundsticks themselves.
When I switched to Internal Sound (the headphone jack), I was able to bring the buffer down to 512 with no problems at all. I could have gone lower, but there was a LOT happening via ReWire.

OS X users.. bug
Hi there valiant OS X users.
Great O/s yes?
Have any of you experienced a bug where triggering slots to record does not quantize the finish properly??
where, instead of a 4 bar loop you get 3'3'0 or similar?
And yes, I have all the preferences and global quantization set to 1 bar.
Cherio,
