So Ive tried this aggregated sound card thing on my mac and PC. I make a 4 in 4 out device and use the trial mode in my Live 5. Select all the inputs/output. I create two tracks one set on one sound card the other on the other one. I talk into each mic and the level meters rise and fall .... good the multiple inputs work.

But, I can only get output from one or other of the sound cards. In the master track there are two drop downs (one above the other) ... I thought they would both do something, but the top one does nothing regardless of which audio output I select, whilst if I select 1/2 on the bottom I get output from the first sound card, if I select 3/4 I get it from the second ... so how do I get it from both at the same time.

Im confused!

Rich
P.S. Its worth noting that whist ASIO4ALL works the latency is huge (compared to Tigers aggregated device)

i think lo-fi's on the right track that this will come down to your hardware capabilities. i can't seem to get live to output the master onto four channels.

but i can use the patchbay my soundcard settings to split the output onto four jacks...

Free upgrades from 4 Lite to 5 Lite that is. I guess a Lite version is always bundled with some hardware.

Hello,

It depends on which version of Live lite 4 you're using. Only some of the bundled Live lite 4 are upgradable. Send us a mail at [email protected] including your bundle version of Live lite 4 and we'll let you know about the right link.

Kind regards,

Amaury
