1) how do I import a mp3 file into Ableton-lite? manual says only wav. and midi, so is there a way to convert mp3 to wav? (and then back to mp3 again?)
2) is there anything like a 4-beat intro for tracks? the online manual briefly mentions something like that, but doesnt go into detail. Hard to click your mouse and play at the same time, eh?

Hey,
I never used the Live Lite, so... But I use QCDPlayer to convert to and from mp3. I know alot of pepole use iTunes. You could also use Soundforge or Wavelab, I guess.
If you need a count in. Stop the sequencer and then start by pressing record while having the metronome on. That gives you two bars of count in.
Regards,
Mikael

I used to use lite before I upgraded. It would not import mp3 files until after I upgraded. You could try these free wav editors if you cannot afford to get one.
