Right in the middle of about 5 days of 100 degree weather here in maryland. I'm looking forward to the weekend when it will be a 'cool' 90 degrees. Oh and it is humid as the rainforest so the 'heat index' is at 110. Fun times.

it's hit a new record high in toronto. it was 40 celsius, felt like 48 with the humidity. between that and the smog my feet started going numb every time i went outside and i almost passed out twice just biking out to the band studio.

thank god for A/C

Sea-Town is 70 degrees and chilling'

can't complain now

Matt Laurer asked Al Rhoker (sp) if this was a direct result of global warming - the heat waves

Al said no, we've had heat waves since the dawn of time - it's a heat wave

Well, at least with the heat index, it's been above 100,, but I've only seen one air temp. report of 100 and that was yesterday. Can't say that 97 plus 90% humidity is pleasant though. Tonite it will all go away. What can I say, but it's August in Michigan and my wife has over 100 students away at marching band camp, ofcourse it's gonna be hot (murphy's law or something).

Ya awl ever seen pictures of buffalo like 30 years ago? I thought it was a movie or something......unreal. Snow and ice for weeks.......nothing moved.........it was the iceage that was comming then.

I lived in nashville during the "storm of the century"..........it was so weird.....we really didn't get it too hard. But Birmingham, Atlanta, all of texas (besically everything south of us.......and on and on were just devistated by the ice and snow.........

Not saying there is no global warming, just trying to give some perspective......

we had a mental amount of rain for a bit. now that its passed, the heats kicked in big style, every day in the mid 30s with wild humidity. i cycle to work every day and i arrive dripping.... i love the sunshine, but give me a breeze to take the edge off please!
