gig last night - some problems

I took my TiBook 667 out last night on a gig, with Live 1.5 and OS X 10.1.5. As is the way of these things, I came across some issues that I've never seen in the studio. I doubt I could reproduce them, but I thought I'd mention them here so Ableton are at least aware of them.
First one was really surprising - while setting up, not even playing, I hid Live (cmd+H), and when I switched back to it, the screen completely failed to update. When I hit space, the clips I had left on pause started up & their loop graphs and level meters were drawn OK, but nothing else appeared - the whole app window stayed white. I may have put the Mac to sleep while Live was hidden - I can't remember unfortunately.
Second problem arose about 10 minutes into my second set. Basically I just got the spinning pizza wheel busy cursor, and could no longer interact with Live, although it continued to play. In the end I had to force quit it. Only difference to my normal use of Live was that I was recording the performance (i.e. recording my actions in Live, not recording the audio).
And lastly, there's the known issue with the quietness of Live's output, which was a slight annoyance.

I'm starting to do a lot of live recording and I get a lot of the 3 '3 bars instead of 4 bars problem.

Any word on this serious bug Ableton??

Also, sometimes you can drag the window past (up) underneath the menu bar, from which you can't drag it back... I assume this is an OS X problem?

maybe you might like to keep a copy of LIVE (just option drag it) in the dock.

If something does fail in the app, you can boot the other version while LIVE is still running , same tempo, start something looping at tempo then force quit 1st original live copy.

I know it's not very good, but, at least you don't have to stop audio for that minute while reloading.

Just good to keep in mind.

os, is yours a new model 667? Does it run well... any performance problems?

not a bad idea - fortunately though last night I had a guitarist making a lot of weird noise, so my brief hiatus went mostly unnoticed (I think!).
it's an old 667 - revision B.
it runs well enough, but I'm sure it could run better if Live were Altivec-friendly

oh, and my harddrive would probably be happier if Live read mp3's and/or buffered whole audio files in RAM.
