Help: Cueing using a Powerbook G4

Does any one know if a Echo Indigo DJ will work on a Powerbook G4?
If not, can anyone suggest another external card that will allow for cueing on seperate channels?

Also, does anyone know if it is possible to sync a m-audio transit 2 I/O with the internal sound card for a PB G4.

You need a card slot for the indigo, my 12 incher (HaHa) doesn't have one, but I think the bigger sizes do. And even then I don't know if it is compliant.

You really only need a firewire interface with one stereo out, set up an aggregate audio device in the audio/midi set up, and you can use the headphone jack on the powerbook to cue, there is plenty of info and how to here and on Apple's website if you do a search.

I tried two ultra-expensive interfaces with my powerbook that I wouldn't piss on if they were on fire before I went with the cheap behringer FCA202 (I think) and it hasn't gone crazy once, simpler really is better.

It should be as simple as going to the Audio/Midi set up and choosing "Create aggregate audio device" then select your soundcard and the powerbooks soundcard, if you want more in depth advice I would suggest going to the Apple website.

Once you get that far, Live will have a little pull down menu over in the in/out row of the Master channel, simply select what soundcard you want to use for the cue and which for master out.

It is stupidly simple if you just futz with it for a few minutes.

Yes UC33e it is good,i use it now for about a year no problems
