MIDI controller for live

hi all,

i would like to know wich is the best midi controller to use with LIVE,i don¨t need a controller with keyboard,only a midi controller...i also don´t know how many controls i can map to the controller...and how much money i have to pay for a good one.

I'd say it largely depends on your needs and budget. I am using the Evolution X-Session which is rather cheap at around EUR 130 and includes a MIDI interface - so you only need a USB port. Many people seem to use the Evolution UC-33 with more faders, and if you want ultimate control, have a look at [http://www.doepfer.de/db.htm]this[/url]. Pocket Dial with infinite dials looks pretty good to, but that one requires an additional MIDI interface.
