Novation Remote SL & Live

Just purchased a Novation Remote SL, with Novation's Bass Station plug in.
Everything runs fine in Reason, but I am getting no MIDI control when using Live. Any advice?

I thought the SL would just automap with Live!?

did you set up as your control in prefrences? towards the bottom of the screen.

I have selected RemoteSL under 'remote control surfaces' but still not getting any output.
The MIDI light is blinking, but when trying to play my bass station plug in nothing happens. The plug in plays fine when using mouse, so it is working.

You Also have to choose SL´s port 1 and 2 on the next columns input and output respectively.

Yeah, I have tried that as well. I have selected all manner of combinations for MIDI input and output but still no joy.

PS. Just downloaded the new update for the SL. Still having problems!!

sounds like there is a prob with bassstation.. i have a simular problem.. but my remote works fine with live.. but when i try to use it with bassstation lives crashes...

not very helpfull ... i know, but just to show that there is other issues too

Same here. Having problems that is.

Just got hold of my SL 25. When I first started it up, before I updated it, there were two templates for live. They had controllers labeled and all for the mixer on the right side and the left side free for mapping controls.

Then I updated the OS and templates like I was told by the novation installer and now I have an ableton template wich is blank. I fiddled with it, an if you set everything up AND start editing the remotes controls (midi channel, control type, note, etc.) then something happens in live. However, lazy as I am, I would like to find the template that was on the controller when I got it.

See how it goes.

Well, it works for me now.

I downloaded the latest SL installer (v8) and set up the SL in the midi section of the prefrences.
Input device - remote SL
Sync - remote SL
Remote - remote SL

and so on.
There is a pdf that comes with the installer and there it is explained in detail.
Works fine.
Now I'm just trying to keep it together with all these numbers (CC23 midichannel 10 note of 100 ms ...)
