Hello all,
I hope someone can help me with a problem I'm having with my 5.2 authorisation.I purchased 5 today and have obtained and installed the serial number for 5.2.
The serial number and Ableton version number(5.2.1) are confirmed in the About.... toolbar. However when I try to save a set a box appears on screen stating, 'sets can not be saved when Live is in demo mode'.
Can anyone help ?
Cheers,
Terry.

you probably didn't purchase operator, and your set probably includes operator. when you use operator but haven't paid for it the program goes into demo mode so you can "try" operator but in effect it ends up ruining a song if you don't notice that it's doing this then all your work is unsavable.

you don't HAVE to buy operator.
you can simply chose "hidden" or something in prefs -> products. Then you will no longer have the choice to use operator in your sets.
If you want to use operator you will have to buy it.
simple!
