Why doesn't snap, snap?

When snap is checked in the pull down menu, and I am editing envelopes why do the "nodes" not snap to whatever the quanitization (the grid in the background) is set to? It would be helpful for precise editing of envelopes.

Could somebody clue me in or do I have to go back to the DAWs I thought I was leaving behind for this (what I think is fairly simple) feature?

I just use the draw mode which does place a "node" on the grid by default. You just have to erase the other one it creates when you dont need it.
