works fine. I just wish it had an auto map.
You have to define the controllers according to the controls in the VSTi.
And it still has 128 steps which is very audible on filter sweeps (which you can correct by mouse, i guess).

128 steps - what's that about?

Well, does that mean, that i have to assign every knob on the ms-20 by hand or can i connect the controller and the controls will be recognized?

it does mean you have to assign every knob by hand. I posted somewhere if anybody had a decent solution for this but nothing came up.
I put a vms-20 in my template with the assignments.

But what's that about the 128 steps being audible?

It depends on the sound but e.g. try the preset sound wobble synth. If I play with the LPF cutoff i can clearly hear stepping. Just try a slow sweep.
Definitely a reason to substiute midi and buy old analog gear with CV and real pots.

??? I always thought it has something to do with Live's CC recording resolution..
For instance when you record CC automation it has a terrible treshold..
I never hear any stepping with Reaktor ??
Agreed with the hardware comment
