Audiorealism BassLine-how does it integrate in Live?
Audiorealism BassLine-how does it integrate in Live?
I really like the Revolution but have too much hardware/weight so have to minimise my performing performance setup. Rebirth does not cut it for me-cheesy sound and way of programming, the Bassline online samples sound promising and I suppose it is much easier to use=avoiding hardware sync problems, latencies etc.
Will appreciate some info from the users, specially using BL live with Live.

Starts opening with Stuffit and then gives an error.
So when you click on Audio Realism in your VST tab over there on the left it opens STUFFIT and then gives you an error
that's a bug and should be reported as such

Well with a friend we have hard times telling the difference between the original hardware and the ABL... This is the best emulation i have ever heard and used. In live situtation it's very effective, i would say go for the classic programing if you want the original feeling and grooves, you just have to import all you paterns in one bassline after that save the preset itself and it's all in...

you can download the demo, it fades out every now and then but you get the idea. I have it running on a 2ghz imac, sweet. fully midi mappable, closest thing i heard to the original. releatively low cpu usage.
oh and if you're into self harm you can use the built in sequencer that emulates the original 303 sequencer. it also includes a more user friendly built in sequencer as well as being controllable by external keyboard or triggering of patterns.
