I just upgraded to Live 3.02 for OSX and I’m heart broken. I love this software and use it everyday of my life but some thing is very wrong with LIVE and OSX. Drop outs in the audio, glitches, crackles and are just some of the problems I’m having. I wish I would have installed 3.0 for OS 9 instead but now I’m stuck with something I won't use until an upgrade is provided that addresses these problems. Is there anything anyone can suggest to improve the situation? Is anyone else having these issues? Please help…
Thanks
PS I’m running 10.2.8
LIVE 3.0 for OSX is a disaster!

In my experience, Live 3.02 under 10.2.7 runs much better, with a lower cpu usage than the previous versions. If the CPU bar in live is not cheating, it's even better than under OS9.
Same for Digital performer 4.12 so I may become a happy osx user, which I've doubted for long !!!

Hi thinwhiteduke,
you should as provide with more detailed information about the problems you have with Live. We cannot fix something we don't know or we cannot reproduce.
- You said you upgrade to Live 3.0.2 on OSX. Which version of Live on which platform do you used before without these problems
- When you get the crackles and glitches?
Does it seem to depend on the buffer size of your audio interface?
Does it seem to depend on the how much clips are playing at the same time?
Does it seem to depend on the CPU usage?
What Mac are you using with which kind of audio interface?
regards,
Alex
