been testing out live 5.2.1 with an intel minimac solo 1.5ghz / 512 ram / motu 828 mk2 / remote SL (OS 1.015)
but i have been having a few issues:
when i try to midi sync my nord micro modular thru the remote sl midi ports, the timing is awful - not sure if its a novation or ableton issue...
also the remote SL doesnt initialise the same way as with PPC G4. i have to go in the prefs and press dump for automap to work properly???
i switched the cables over to the motu, and the timing is better (almost perfect) but whenever i use the keyboard shortcut apple+B to switch pen mode then the timing glitches and the audio + meters in live freeze up. it goes back to normal just after i press the key???
anyone else?
other than that the CPU performance difference is massive - even on this lo spec intel processor!
