maybe i didnt import some of my favorites from my other mac...
but none of them show up besides the dsl music device that comes with a mac...
are there any that are readily available that are working fine with live on a new macbook (intel) pro..?
ill take anything (any type of plugin) at this point.. that works for me ...
(its not only vsts anymore either is it?)
VSTs that work with (intel) mac book pro....
same heppened to me.
heres some of my favorite intel compatable plugs:
Crystal still works on intels, thats such a neat free synth
theres a filter called crayon filter thats nice.
also track plug 5, a compressor from wave arts is sick (AU i think)

as a tester for the vst/au adaptor what I can say is that just about everything that is vst/ub, will almost certainly be AU.....which is better for macintels anyways.
Here's a link that will give you a great resource (if you didn't already know) to UB's vst and au......
http://www.kvraudio.com/get.php
to check for ub's, there are three areas.......effects, instruments.....and hosts. All you have to check from the front link is the universal binaries link toward the bottom and that will automatically take care of the rest!
some are free, lot's cost money........some have excellent trail periods (may I recommend wave arts?).......
