Hi, I used to use Live for mixing around a year ago but due to moving house my speakers have been in storage for a while and iv'e only just managed to get them back and get started again (i have been using just headphones direct from my laptop headphone port for production during this time).
my problem is as follows: i made a mix yesterday and used my usual method of using the loop function in the clip on each track in order to extend the tracks rather than creating additional clips. I started my mix and hit the record function before doing so. I finished the mix and when i pressed play to hear the mix i discovered that Live had only recorded the parts of the clips before they actually started looping, then stopped recording. so when i looked in my arrangement view it showed all the clips i had used ending where looping began.
my only guess is that i have perhaps changed a preference whilst my speakers were in storage, which preference would this be if so?
