one project won't open

When I open one particular project in live 5.0.3 , it crashes the entire program. I can open other projects with no problems. I think that one of the plug-ins is causing live to crash. Is there a safe-mode I can use to troubleshot what is in this particular project that crashes live?

i dont know of any safe mode, but i had this happen once before, completely randomly. The problem seemed to be that the audio interface that was used when the set was last saved wasn't present and it would crash as soon as i tried to open the session - all the other sessions that were created with the interface would open without it present. connecting the audio interface that it was saved with made the session open properly with no errors. If this isn't the situation that you find yourself in, i can only suggest moving your plugins temporarily so that live cannot find them and thus eliminating that as a potential problem.. or try opening it on another computer.

thanks for the response, I did end up removing the plugin from my vst folder and the project loaded up. As well I did try open the project with a different sound card then the one I was using when I last saved the file, so that may have been a factor as well.
