Serato Box for Live Sessions?

I have a friend who uses his Final Scratch Box to play Ableton through so he doesnt have to buy another soundcard/box for his laptop.

Im wondering if I can do the same with Serato's Box instead? He showed me how to do it with his FS box..

Launch Ableton/Preferences/Audio/Driver Type = FinalScratch..

But Ableton doesnt pick up the Serato Box via USB as an output source. Is there anything Im doing wrong or is this just not doable?

I guess I'll stick with a Y-cable and the headphone jack until I can afford an M-Box.
