Weird problem with electric guitar and mic.
I play the song but the electric guitar is not heard, so then I set up the 1/2 option And I hear the guitar on one side and mic on the other. I just want the two sounds together. Help

You need to make two audio tracks, one for the mic and one for the guitar. You should then set one track to monitor input 1 and the other to monitor input 2.

You need to hold down control when clicking the arm button to enable recording on more than one track.
(This makes sense for some people)
I think you can disable this in the preferences, but I couldn't tell you what the option is called off the top of my head. Give it a look.
