Using live 5.2.1 with a BCF2000 in Mackie Control Emulation mode crashes when switching or opening sets.
Can open or switch sets if I turn the BCF off before doing so, but that means I have to switch it back on & assign it again in preferences once the new set is opened. Sometimes it will crash even then.
Has been doing this from the outset, but last time it did this (5 mins ago) it crashed the Macbook entirely!
I should also mention that I'm using a 2nd (IBM) monitor for a dual-screen setup.
Screen 2 went purple, then the MB screen did as well, then a small notice in multiple languages suggesting I restart the computer.
Other gear in the line-up is a Lacie Rugged & presonus Firebox
Anyone else experiencing anything like this?

& thats from Alex at Abe, so it's just something to live with for a while.Alex wrote:Unfortunately Live 5.2.1 can randomly crash on a Mac if any of the available MIDI controller surfaces (Remote SL; MackieControl, ProjectMixIO or Tranzport) is selected.
This will be fixed within Live 5.2.2 which will come soon.

/Alex
