I use Live, as well as logic...
Check it out...
Logic 6 has a new refined look, and the latest Apple Plugins look insane!

I think it looks pretty sweet....
(supposedly Logic Pro gets released late March with the newest Plugins)...

i'm a logic and live phreak as well, and look forward to the cross-grade from platinum to pro. if you haven't already spent a whole lot on the logic plugs, for what you'll be getting for $199 US it will be quite a deal!

I'm also pleasantly surprised by this awesome "deal" but can't help feeling there's something fishy here (like, Logic 7 will run on G5 computers only or something like that)
Still, I'll be getting the update for sure!

Hmmmm.... Format, what you say may be true - at SOME time Logic is going to go that way.
What do you think the odds are of Logic 7 being OSX only???
That would be a bummer enough for me.
Hmm.........
cheers

According to my computer dealer, who is always very much "in the know", it's almost a certaintly that Logic 7 will be OS X-only.
He also said that he thinks the Logic Pro version with the three new plugins won't be a paid upgrade as that's Apple's strategy with Final Cut, too. I'd be surprised but he says Final Cut sub-updates come with new plug-ins as well and are always for free.
