If you own both!
What is the best way to connect them to Live? Together (with a midi cable) or 2 usb cables, one one both?

Depends on how much use you make of all the channels. If you like tons of patches that cover all 16 midi channels avalible on both devices then USB is the way to go. Otherwise you might as well make sure they work on different channels and patch them together with midi and save yourself some clutter. They will now act like one device which could be good or bad depending on you when it comes to de/activating them or assiging them to remote controls.
hi...
i own both BCR +BCF and i use them together with great succes with Live 5.2.1. i use the BCF as Mackie emulation and the BCR i use for my own midi settings, it's cool like that, you can control almost everything with the BCF without having to program anything
and with the BCR you got alot of possibilities. go for it! it's really kicks as without the mouse thing.......
Ps and i use/program it for everything elses too, like Traktor....ect..
Hope thats help you...

Bitwig/1.0.5 - Ableton/Live 8 - Apple/MacPro-2.8Ghz-8Core-RAID - Samsung/SM-P2770H 27" - Yamaha/HS80M/HS10W - Behringer/BCR/BCF - Allen & Heath/Xone:3D - Sennheiser/HD25-13 - Native Instruments/Komplete9/Traktor Pro
but how are they connected, one via usb and the other with midi to the first? or both independent with their own usb? the manual explains these setups, but what do you use?xzusa8ky wrote:hi...
