I have about 100 songs all timed, and seperated into chorus, verse, break (like dylan ryhmes) And saved each song individually into there own clips (.als file)
And this has happened twice to me already, with two different hard drives.
They will act fine for a while, then one time, ableton will crash while im doing a set, and then i re-open it, and when i import certain clips, the minute i drag them onto the board, ableton crashes. and some clips will be fine. (that was the first time) What i did to correct this, was... luckily i had a back-up of all the clips, so i erased the old ones, and put the new ones on a new drive, and they worked fine.
Now, the second time which happened today...
I was in the middle of a set, and all of a sudden i brought in a song (not a clip) and it crashed, then when i re-opened live, i tried importing some clips...and the song sounded like the clicks and scrathes a very high pitched toned, but when i open the song itself in winamp, the song is fine, but when imported into live (clip form) it sounds corrupted. I re-installed live, but nothing changed, and even used backup clip files from another drive, and even those create havok.
Any help would be great!
