Same here and I love them.
Same here with the RP6. Will definately get the sub when I can afford it.

I totally love them too and having used extremely high eng KRK, Genelec, Dynaudio's + all the usual culprits from events down to Alesis monitor one's and the KRK's have given me the best resolution out of the lot.

I'm very happy with my Mackie HR824's paired with a Tannoy sub loaned from a friend. When he takes back the sub, I will replace it with the Mackie HRS120 subwoofer.

I've never had the *slightest* bit of regret buying the Mackies.

Mackies are the industry standard, although for 800.00 GBP each, you'd expect them to be on the fairly great. At the moment I am using a pair of Mordaunt Short floor standers. Whilst not being designed for studio monitering, they are excellent speakers and deliver a crisp balanced sound that seems reliable enough until I've got the cash to pick up a pair of Mackies.

Thanks!

I'm using Event monitors

and they have really been true to me, but the other day I really misjuged a bass part, and it was little embarrassing.

I'm currently saving for the Ivy stack. Thanks, Robert!

yamaha hs50's (semi-re-invented ns-10) sound pretty good for their money
