stuck template

help!?!?! im stuck in a template setting and cant change it through default. im confused about the missing reference sample warning. i really dont care about finding it and ive looked and cant anyway. need help to work on new tracks... thanks!!!

I think you had the same problem I had once before. Are you saying when you open live it keeps going to a project you did instead of a default? If so you need to delete all the stuff on it and put back to how the default is and then save it as a templete. I don't know how to find the templete to delete it so that's what I did and everything is good now.

The default project can be anything. So make one you're comfortable with. Mine is prepared with tracks with my favorite VSTs on them and a few tracks dedicated to my hardware. Go to options and click the "save as default" button. Next time you start a new project this will come up. You could also do a "blanc" one. Well it has to contain at least one track.

Can't fully understand your situation...

Have you tried:

-Opening a new project.
-Oragnizing it the way you want.
-Then going to Preferences>Defaults>Live Set>Templates and pressing Save?

Try this one:

Hold shift down while clicking File-> "New Live Set".
mbp 2.66, osx 10.6.8, 8GB ram.
