Midi-issue
I have got a really old keyboard.. Its well basic.. But all I have at the mo.
My problem is this. I want to run a keyboard into an LV2 into a M-audio sound-card.
The problem I am having, is the keyboard is so basic, it has no midi channel read-out..
Ie: I don't know what channel I am using.
The Lv2 is wicked and works like a dream, but when I plug my keyboard into the Lv2 it
Don't do anything in Ableton. I think I need to pick different channels for different things.
This is all a bit new to me, so any advice would be much appreciated.
Keyboard: midismart
Midi: controller: Lv2
Sound-card: M-audio Audiophile
thanks

Thanks annihilator.1, I now can use the keyboard as a trigger, but is it possible to assign the Keyboard to the keys on the vst's, so I can play it live with my percussion running in the background?annihilator.1 wrote:just activate midi mapping (Top right) then select any clip area & press a key on your keyboard & live will display the midi channel & key in the clip.
