dude, use this online facility to convert them PNG files into ICO files for Windows XP

Anyone know how to back up the original icon first? Tried copying from the get info window.

Copy the icon from the Live Get Info window, make a blank folder, and paste the icon into the blank folder's Get Info window. Keep the empty folder, and you can always get the old icon back from it.

Actually, I have been trying to make my own icons, and it is more difficult on XP than would be imagined. Not simply naming or converting a file to .ico. Many different files must be used, or so it seems from reading the web.
