turning plugins off on and on with key commands help!

Post by gloomer » Tue Sep 05, 2006 9:04 pm

I had this idea to make Live, even liver if that makes sense.

Let's say were playing a song and that "moment" passes where you think. Crap I coulda used this filter to spice it up just that much.

By the time you've had that "moment" it's gone. It just takes to long to find the plugin you were thinking of and dragging it in.

So I'm putting a few bypassed plugins on my audio tracks, and whenever i think. Hey how bout a quick reverse.

I tap the key once to turn it on. I get the nice on time reverse. Then hit it off.

It's just an idea right now because i haven't been able to do that in Live 5. I turn on the KEY mode and try and keymap the power button of the plugins but it just doesn't work.

I've mapped "K" to be the power button of this specific plugin. Nothing works. How can i fix this.

THanks for your time

P.S I didn't keymap the wrench icon. I keymapped the power icon.

Also i only had the live gui on of the plugin. not the vst gui on.

Look in the upper right hand side of the screen - is the little keyboard icon still on? That should be set to off.
