hi folks! I was thinking about getting a mackie CONTROL , but know that I see this one I cant decide .
mackie control cost 4 times the price of this fader2000 .....so I'm considering on getting behringer instead of mackie ...but i'm worried about an old saying....YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.... I wonder if it applyes for this new controler from behringer... 8O

plenty of people in this thread have had good success with behringer products. Since it costs four times less, it seems a no-brainer--if it craps out, you can buy another and still have saved mucho deniro. It seems now that evolution and behringer have entered the control surface market, prices should continue to go down, and four digit controllers from the big boys start to look way overpriced.

behringer needs to seriously consider getting some decent web hosting...
i can only imagine how bad this site must be on a slow connect...

totally Spiral! i'd say 90% of audio software companies have HORRIBLE websites. most of them are circa 1998. kudos to the Abletons for having one of the few awesome websites in the biz.

The two BEHRINGER control panels are announced for the 2nd quarter of this year. List prices about 300 / 220 (motorized faders / 32 rotary controls). They are guaranteed to bombshell the hardware-controllers market!

I can't wait for the release... that BCR2000 will be mine! Oh yes, it will be! (as my GF sighs about being left for row after row of beautiful, shiny encoders)

don't buy the mackie control...
I've had it for about 2 month... it's a piece of shit! the faders are much too sensitiv to work in a live situation and it does stupid thing you don't want to! like faders moving to some position if you open another program and it sends out ultra non specific midi commands...

I've ordered the BCF2000 and the BCR2000 for less than half price and I'm shure it'll be better that the mackie control... well, it can't be worse...

I think the only alternativ would be the motormix controller... but it seems a bit high priced compared to the behringer stuff...

well, we all wait and see the 2nd quarter...
