glad to see ableton taking their time
when this version comes out we may not even need updates.

you know, I fully second this opinion.
not to flame anyone or start a commotion, but it seems like
the same people who are so anxious to get the beta, (which don't get me wrong, I'm excited too) are the ones who complain when the full version comes out and there are "relatively" more bugs. 5 had a much larger beta circle and although it was fun to play early, this seems, at least in theory, to be a better more, intentional method for working out the best possible version of 6 to bring to market.
I don't know, I think it's good to see a company I already highly respect working so dillegently to make a great product even better.
