Looking at buying hardware. $800US budget
Looking at getting into ableton. Tried the demo and now want to invest in some controllers and gear. What do you guys suggest for someone starting out my budget is $800US. It also needs to be mac compatible.

ya....and is the 800 dollars supposed to cover the cost of ableton live PLUS controllers, or do you have up to 800 just for control/interface ?
CME have some new controllers out.....I have an original cme model, not as fancy as the new ones, but its a damn solid keyboard with great keys.

Depends on how you intend to use it. Look for a controller that fits the style that you like to work with. ie drum pads, Keyboard layout, Dj controller. There are tons of reviews on the web, Remix mag and others to get an idea of what is worth the skrilla.
Good luck and have fun!
