Man? can't we leave the platform wars to KVR and other sites? It's silly and not productive at all IMO.

???

umm..that must be some ball-less way of referring to me ? .....it doesnt seem to make sense, "anyone who is concerned just fed it" .....I didnt notice anyone else posting zebra pics, so that must be me. On another thread I referred to attention seeking....so I guess you took issue with that, hardly surprising since you were the first sucker on the scene of that 'help me kick heroin' thread

anyways, I'm not concerned he's an attention seeker...

jeez, you're a stiff bitch.

if you hadnt noticed, he has sig that can enduce an epileptic fit and he types in huge letters peppered with lots of !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! here and there - that is the extent of my concerns, if you can call it that....'concern'. I'd call it 'having a laugh', and I wasnt the only one who found it funny by the way!

just so you know, the attention seeking I take issue with is SOLELY the "my wife's leaving me/ I smoke crack & I'm sad/ I'm leaving my wife" threads. I'd like to think you might even appreciate the fact I dont barge in on those threads to have a laugh while you're all consoling one another. I might not agree with it, but I do leave them be.

I was speaking figuratively. I was paying an homage to your zebra through its appropriation.I like to do that. It's my way of inadvertantly expressing my appreciation for someone's action. I was adressing several statements with it, none of which were yours. Sucks if you have a problem with it.

I've chilled with Err, even after disagreeing with him on on the board, and we got along fine. Perhaps that is because we are civilized. Now go wash your mouth out with some soap or pretend to make music or whatever. My GF just got back into town and your adolescent behavior is out of sight and out mind.

PS, I really like to contribute to this forum, so I thought I would share your insightful, unsolicited PM, friend.

Here's to people like Klinkal and his skins, who make it tolerable for me to work on computers.

To remix what Michael just said:

Destructive, antisocial behavior is bad for any community. Bad behavior online is not excused by good behavior offline.

Alright. that makes sense. From my perspective, having me the cat, I wuld have to say that the post was about 1 part troll to 9 parts observation. The fact that his arguement does not hold together (what with reusing parts one already has and what not, which I think is more of an oversight) does not mean that imo that he's trolling. I for one am I mac owner that loves to hear this sort of stuff before I purchase my new laptop in January's round of updates.

 ....there was a message there, behind all the single naughty word ('bitch' - bitch!)
and to clarify, what you did was assume I thought he was an attention seeker, assume I was concerned about that, and assume my hijinks were some kind of protest to his attention seeking - oh and then still languishing in your own paradigms you tell me I've failed - and infact gave the guy the attention I so sorely wish to deprive him of....smug git......in short you were way off. A trite discussion was momentarily turned into something quasi-entertaining for everyone....and you and your rigormortous self had to make sure that didnt happen.

"I was speaking figuratively"....lol, you worm - thats weak.

"PS: Sorry for deverging from the thread." .... not worth addressing
"PPS: Don't PM me if you want to call me names." ...lol, you were PM'd to avoid deverging the thread

Amazing how many forum users fit the various definitions.

BTW, my son IS epileptic, if it makes any difference to anyone who can't see outside their own selfish little worlds.

ya hambone1, you do know you've fit into that definition many times in the past, lampooning all those threads about palestinian suffering etc ?

and I'm sorry to hear about you're son, but get the FUCK off your high horse pal - I've been disgusted by your selfish words too many times whilst talking with others here about children dying from bombs dropping on their heads. while they sleep. or play. or even being sniped, in the face. while they play.

and rest assured, all my seizure enducing pics will be kept within the confines of this thread...seeing as it was already a "high-risk" thread for an epileptic.

joining a discussion, where we're discussing people being torn limb from limb - trapped in an open air prison, being shot at like ducks in a barrell - joining that discussion to post pics of the mountain trail you're about to go hiking in, in all you're glorious freedom...smiley's and all.......if thats not the epitome of not being able to see out of one's own selfish world I really dont know what is

Yep.

And sometimes I DO like to escape from my own selfish little world. And from the big nasty world out there. Especially to the Great Outdoors.

In fact, people keep telling me "You I should get out more". I'm not too sure what they mean... :?

escaping your selfish world, is not going to the forest. infact, in the context it is said - it is the very act of selfishness I was referring to.

i.e, in a discussion on an imprisoned people - hambone joins to gloat about his own freedom (im going on a hike - yay! for me! look at how pretty it is where I'm going - yay! for me!)...and now you say that is your way of escaping your selfish world ?...please , if thats true, dont display your selfish side.

suffice as to say that was WEAK example of double-speak...I'm tickled by your audaciousness tho....trying to pass off going on a hike as an act of selflessness.....LOL
