I don't need another logic

Live should be an simply to use application for musicers. For the next version, it is a better idea to improve fundamental functions and effects. Why i need a 8-Equalizer, then the quality from 4-Equalizer is not realy good? Why i need a freeze function, then some midi stuffs not realy works good? Why i need more and more new features, then i use on stage a small range? And why are some functions only available in menu bar, and not in context-menus? I need a function directly by mouse and will not walk through a menubar trip. One thing is to use samples and includes instruments from live self, another thing is to integrate Live in a synthesizer setup, thats it then i say improve fundamental functions.

Live should be live, an no another cubase or logic with tons of features, where never been used.

You don't have to upgrade to the latest version. For my on-stage needs live 3 or 4 would be fine.

I already own Logic and IMHO Live 6 still lacks too much of what Logic can do for even considering Live 6 for studio production (for example: no MIDI/audio to MIDI quantize template function, no way to record MIDI cc data into clips... etc etc)

I agree. Live is a blast to use but there is no way it can be taken seriously without groove templates. Also it needs a Limiter and side chain compression.
