They go to a bar and the guy from heineken orders a round of heineken.
They have a chat, finish their drinks.
The guy from budweiser buys a round of "bud's"...
More time passes, the guy from Duvel thinks to himself "I'll better order a round too". And he orders a round of heinekens...

The dudes from Budweiser and Heineken look amazed.
"Why didn't you order a round of Duvel's?", They asked.

The man from the Duvel brewery says: "It's still too early to have a beer".

Maudite and Duvel are my favs right now. $15 for a 4 pack though  But worth it.

Are we talking about beer oder yellow/brown watery liquid of beerish taste wich is only drinkable icecold?
If you want beer, eat this:
1. Engelhardt Charlottenburger Pilsner ("Engelhardt macht Stengel hart" as we say in Berlin) together with "Mampe Halb & Halb" or a "Hunting Master" (I wonder if anyone knows this).
2. Berliner Kindl Jubiläumspils
3. Staropramen

If nor available (but only if) Becks, Jever, Amstel, Singha, Tsingtao, Asahi.

And if you are hungry have a Weißbier!
"Guess what? I got a fever. And the only prescription...is more cowbell!"

I heard that joke as
3 guys go into a bar
guy 1 orders a budweiser
guy 2 orders a heinekin
guy 3 orders a coke
when asked why guy 3 is drinking coke, he says "if you're not going to drink beer, neither am I"
It was told to me by somebody who did accounting at the Duvel brewery ;)

I bet it comes in every language....
We just make great beer 8)

I dimly remember doing a gig in Belgium where the promoter took us out around town in the afternoon before the gig. We began by drinking the double, wondering what the trippel was, we got that one next.
Holy crap!
We needed emergency measures before playing the gig.

I quite like weisse beer at the mo, obviously imported , Erdinger, Maisels Weisse, stuff like that if I'm in England. If I'm away in the Germanic countries I like to sample the local micro breweries and I'm easilly convinced I have found a new favourite. Normally I cant pronounce them right though.

OT a bit , but ... Can anyone enlighten me why spirits are so crazy expensive in Switzerland?
I nearly bankrupted myself having a vodka!

or

Guinness (regular)
Keo from Cyprus
Old Peculier
Some of the Granville Island stuff from Vancouver is good
Budvar/Staropramen/Pilsener Urquell/Gambrinus

or

some Hoegaarden if you wanna go nuts
