I have a 61 and a 25, I like both. The keys and the pads feel very good. My 25 has developed some eletrical problems but M-Audio gave me no grief about sending it in for repair/replacement. I also have a Novation ReMOTE 25, Trigger Finger and a few other controllers. The Axiom fits my needs the best.

I have the 61 and am very satisfied with it. The pads work very nice with Live.

I have a 25 and overall I like it a lot, BUT:

1) It's a little funky when I first turn it on. The screen will flicker, sometimes even go blank...but I've learned to just let it work out its problems on its own, and after a minute or so it's fine.

2) The pads won't hold their note assignments for Impulse. This pisses me off, since the pads were the main reason I went with the Axiom. If I could use the Enigma software maybe I could save it as a preset, but I found out I can't use Enigma because I'm still on Service Pack 1. great....

My friend, your's is about to go dead..... That's how it all started with mine... Maybe we got the same shipment. You are losing the pad assignments because of the power problems and all templates are reset (not to default enigma templates.... but some type of basic template) mine did the same.... it seems very few people are having this problem, send it in. My 61 has been running perrf... wait, let me not say anything.

But No, it is not normal for it to lose pad assignments.

Thanks everybody, that's actually a big help..it's nice to hear from folk who are not getting paid to sell me the stuff ...

It's the pads I am really looking forward to getting my hands on. even if it just for doing the whole drum programming thing. some of the beats, just take far to long to try and program via the Keys...(I'm used to and old RT Drum machine so i miss my pads).

I had thought about the Trigger finger but I need a bigger keyboard as well, so my thinking is I can't afford the two thing on their own..so i'll buy the Axiom

So heres my plan...update to Live6, update to Battery3 and buy the Axiom 61.. =one happy techhead :D

Thanks everyone
