When I am in session mode, I drag a bunch of samples up into a trackslot.
How do you test the sample without the whole song starting up each time?

you mean you take samples from one view (session) into another (arrange)? Hit the red button at the top center of the window, it toggles which view as precedence wheen play begins.

Yes I got that, that is mainly for when your in arrange mode.
I am in session mode, and I only want to play the samples in the session without it playing the arrangement.
I guess I could hit the s on the arrangement track I am using. Maybe that's the answer.

yeah, solo the one you want or mute the ones you don't. Try hitting the F1, F2, F3, F4, F5 etc keys, shortcuts to turning tracks on/off.
