Post by lu2c » Wed Jun 19, 2002 2:39 pm

maybe i am too stupid to read the f****** manual , but how is it possible to program banks for the oxygen knobs ...

should be possible to change presets and get 8 different midi settings. is it too hot ? :?:

i just 'found out' the oxygen 8 has no patch memory on its own , so does it mean i only can assign up to 8 knobs at a time , and if i need a different setting to re-assign all 8 of them from scratch ?

i am not sure, but this would be quite a drawback..

any comments?

The new release of the Oxy8 has programmable knobs. You can create different banks and toggle them using the transpose keys. I got mine and found this out myself (the literature included mentioned nothing about this). Anyway, get it. Once you figure it out, it's a total breeze... :)

lowbot - could you be a bit more specific mate? So some of us can try this out too?

By the way, how do we know if we have the older or newer oxyg8?

oxy8 presets

The Oxygen8 has 5 presets. Press the "midi/select" button under the display, then press the "octave/preset" up and down buttons. This will display P01-P05 in the display. These are the presets. This information is not in the manual.
