Mastering question...

Post by foxjazz » Sun Sep 17, 2006 5:35 pm

I have a few voice samples that I am working with. One has a click near the end, and the time on the sample is .525 seconds...

I am trying to get rid of a static in the soundbyte.

What is the best way to do this?

I am currently using audacity as a wave editor.

draw a volume envelope around the glitch, drop it to zero. then bounce the sample to another track and use the new one, put the origina away.

nice,
I would open it in soundforge, zoom in, mouse-draw the click out and save.
