Can Anyone Help? Effect Question

I was wondering if there was a way in live to route like a reverb for instance to a track that would alow me to only control the reverb and not the sound itself. I was reading "The Art Of Mixing" and in it there is a section on Effects it is mainly talking about panning and moving reverb up or down in the mix using eq or moving left or right using panning. How could I route the reverb to a track that would allow me to eq or pan just the reverb to have better control over it in the mix. Hope that makes sence would appriciate any help.

You'd need to read up on Live's routing.

You would (probably) want to set up a send track with a reverb on, set to 100% Wet. Your audio track would feed the send track (ie - Send A on your audio track 1 fully open). Then, you'd send the audio track, and the send track to a newly created audio track (audio track 2). You could then use the volume slider on the veverb track to control JUST the reverb.

OR - you could just use the Send Knob on audio track 1...
