watch out where the huskies go
don't you eat that yellow snow.

I prefer cats, they have tons of attitude and pretty much take care of themselves. 'Cats are fish with fur.' dude that's just ignant.

A good dog is amazing. Anyone raising any kind of dog other than toy dogs in the city should be neutered. My parents mentally screwed up the two dogs we had, thank god the cats could take care of themselves, I was always around at least 4 of them. Don't have any now.

i much prefer cats. some dogs are okay. but in general dogs are loud, needy, and annoying. dog owners are the worst. a dog is like a fucking child. "no i cant go to the beach with you this weekend.. my poor dog cant be alone.. blah blah" cats are highly self maintainence, clean, mysterious, and can be as lovable as dogs if you earn their trust.

what you're calling mysterious is actually lack of intelligence. you've got google, check it, cats are not very smart, though i understand cat owners prefer to pretend that their cats are aloof or somesuch rather than just plain dumb.

now living in the city there are certain things you have to put up with.. if you want the quiet life go to the country

i see you points about dog waste and what not .. but when people who make music complain about noise..you better be careful!

i'm glad my dogs bark alot .. it will make people think twice about messing with my pad

I have a doggie door installed .. i can leave the animals home alone for 24 hours + if i need to
Got ya. You're one of those "just deal with it, dude" types, right? Yeah, we got a whole neighborhood full of folks like you. THEIR dogs, THEIR kids, THEIR cars come first. Crap on my lawn, make all the noise they want, and if I don't like it, tough shit, go live somewhere else. "Certain things I have to put up with"? Well, one of these days a person like me is going to snap, and YOU'RE going to be the one who has to put up with ME.

I second that - my friend had a cat who kept getting stuck in stupid places it couldn't get out of (Like on the roof)

I prefer dogs (obviously)

animals are animals, some are smarter than others - but personally i don't think it's a matter of intelligance as it is INSTINCTS

ever see a cat chase it's own tail?

sounds like a blissfully stupid way to live. It would be interesting to see some facts on dog vs. cat intelligence, does anyone have internet access to look it up?

My dog chases his tail when it has an itch...and he catches it and itches the itch. It's not because he's dumb. It does take him a few spins to get it though which is amusing :D .

btw, I knew which SP episode that was from the pick. Just saw that one a week or so ago.

it's probably more accurate to say that dogs are more intelligent in ways that we recognize and value. dogs are social like us, so keeping the group happy, learning from others, are a priority. cats are largely solitary, so they're fairly indifferent to many of the tasks we would use to gauge intelligence.
