Multiple MIDI parameter mapping

Post by Akira » Sun Sep 24, 2006 2:42 am

Hey all,

Probably been asked before, but is there any way to assign one MIDI CC or Note, to multiple parameters in Live? Sometimes I want to trigger more than one thing with just one MIDI command, or control two effects with the same MIDI CC.

Is this possible? So far, I haven't found the way to do it.

Cheers!

not sure about 5, but in 6 you can. 6 even has a list that will show you your midi commands and their function. so if you forget, you can just go back to the list and refresh your memory.

In 5, you can't, unless you are using another software program re-wired, or within live, such as bidule, EnergyXT, Max/msp.

In 6, this functionality is fully present. It is quite cool, and quite astounding. Just one of the many reasons to upgrade on this cycle.

6 is going to be a big step forward.
