Cool other software that is Mac or PC only

Free FX and Instruments:
Ambience - dual platform
Fish fillets - dual platform
SIR - Win only
SimulAnalog Guitar Suite - Win only
Green Machine - Win only
Crystal - dual platform
Synth 1 - Win only
Claw - dual platform
Rubytube - dual platform
Destroy FX - dual platform

Hmmm... looks like I can't think of any free Mac-only instruments or fx even though I'm predominately use Macs. Zebra (AU only, currently) is the only commercial softsynth I can think of that's Mac-only.

Erm, the above post was me, forgot to log in like so many others here

Anyway, I think that you won't lose on software availability if you choose a PC over a Mac, just the other way round (I'm talking about FX and instruments, not hosts). You'd buy a Mac for other reasons.
